My brother's (my only sibling) untimely death broke me into innumerable pieces. I wasn't able to understand what lay ahead, and whether a life that seemed extraordinarily long without his presence would ever be possible. He was my protector and best friend, the one I would turn to for every kind of guidance. With him gone, I felt the world should come to an end, and that I should wrap up my own journey to be with him. I saw my parents go numb, and my two little kids stunned to witness the distress his passing had brought into our lives.

Days passed, and I kept grieving his absence. Then one of my brother's friends, who had also suffered the loss of his only sibling, visited us and shared this thought: our loved ones never go away, they just change form. This changed my perspective on how I handled the loss of his physical presence. I wanted to immediately look for ways to connect with those other forms, and that's when I found this beautiful course that Abhishek has so thoughtfully put together.

My brother wished for Moksha, and we knew we had to honor his wishes while also finding a way to forge a bond with his soul that would help us move forward. That is exactly what this course does. It provides a logical flow for managing your emotions and suggests ways of remaining connected while honoring every soul's wish to be liberated. The course also offers reading resources to help expand one's understanding of what physical reality means, and what lies beyond. It relates everything to the modern aspects of science, including quantum physics, which is especially helpful for people who prefer to approach life through science but find that science alone doesn't offer solutions to the excruciating pain of navigating life after losing someone you deeply loved. That's where spirituality comes in.

Being a science professional myself, I never thought my understanding of life was incomplete. But it was, in many ways. I had follow-up sessions with Abhishek, where he taught me how ancient Indian scriptures and wisdom — like the Bhagavad Gita and the Vedas — hold everything we need to understand life and what lies beyond. He took special care of my parents during each session, understanding their emotional state and offering them a path of unconditional love and gratitude.

Here's how I celebrated this year's Rakhi without his physical presence. Abhishek is also a medium who can channel messages from loved ones in heaven, and my brother's message, through Abhishek, was: "I will protect you."

The rakhi I tied this year, with beads holding his memory close.

This may all look unreal to many, but remember, anything that helps you survive can never be unreal. Even if it were all untrue, if it can help someone choose not to give up, it has to be better than what reality alone could offer.

The course fee, along with the fee for follow-up sessions, is a fraction of what one would pay for a single mediumship session. It is truly worth pursuing, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has lost the physical presence of someone they loved deeply. Remember, loss is not permanent — love and connection are. That is the new way of life for me. My brother and I are always connected, and so will you be, till eternity.
